Actor Milo Ventimiglia who portrays fan favorite character, Peter Petrelli, was spotted in downtown L.A on Tuesday July 28th filming an exterior scene with Heroes co-star and newcomer Deanne Bray.
Bray who plays a hearing impaired woman will have a multi-recurring role as Peter’s new love interest. According to series creator, Tim Kring, Bray’s character, Emma, is “a fascinating new powerful woman.” The two characters will have a romantic connection that will help Peter “find out that life means staying connected to others,” added Kring in a newsletter to the exclusive Heroes All Access fan club.
Earlier leaked casting calls revealed that Emma will first appear in episode 3 (Acceptance) of the upcoming season of NBC’s TV hit show. The scene in question shows Peter saving Emma from getting hit by a bus.

In my humble opinion, Claire and Peter had a lot chemistry. Unfortunately, a third dad for Claire sounds unlikely and random. I’m a willing to give a chance to Peter and Ema. Deanne Bray is a beautiful and talented actress. Claire and Gretchen are also a beautiful couple. I know it sounds like girl-on-girl action is targeted at fan boys but I want to believe Heroes is a progressive show and they also believe in equality for all. I’m cool with LGBT characters.
Please remember that nothing is set in stone. Who knows? At the end, they might change the story and give Claire another dad, just like supporters are suggesting. But if they don’t, I’m not going to stop watching the show. As a true fan, I do realize the show has done several things wrong specially in the last two seasons. Nonetheless, I praise the writing room because very few people would be creative enough to craft something like Heroes. I’m not going to fight with fellow fans over “relationships” in the show. As some pointed out, this is not Gossip Girl.

you are so lame that you have to call your friends to spam comments here. for the record ill be happy to see claire and peter but i dont really care whether claire ends up with peter or gretchen or even sylar. i consider myself bisexual and im SO HAPPY Claire is dating a girl this season. it really shows NBC is not afraid of showing gay characters. specially these days where people like you treat gays as perverts, freaks, second class citizens. i’m a girl so your argument is invalid about fan boys only. im not going to argue with you anymore. KEEP WHINING WHINING AND WHINING MAYBE KRING WILL READ YOUR COMMENTS. if you want to ship them go ahead. don’t watch the show if you don’t like the new couples. just cause she kisses gretchen in the show it doesn’t mean she is a lesbian or she will never fall for peter again. you are just another sad fan boy who thinks has the right over the direction of heroes. call nbc and write your own show! i’m done with you.
