After all the mystery surrounding Heroes and Comic Con, there is finally official confirmation from NBC about the time and place of the event. The news started with rumors that Heroes was not going to have a panel at Comic Con this year [Chicago Tribune]. Later Maureen Ryan, from the aforementioned newspaper, reported that, series creator, Tim Kring confirmed the show’s “presence” at the convention but did not elaborate on details.

Mark your calendars because Heroes will have a panel discussion on Saturday, July 25th from 3:15pm to 4:15pm. All the attendees will get to see a sneak peak trailer of the upcoming fourth season of Heroes “Redemption.” Tim Kring and cast members Jack Coleman (HRG), Masi Oka (Hiro), Adrian Pasdar (Nathan) and Zachary Quinto (Sylar), as well as guest stars Robert Knepper (Samuel, the villainous carnival barker), Dawn Olivieri (Lydia, the mysterious tattooed lady), Ray Park (a dangerous carnival knife thrower) and Madeline Zima (Gretchen, Claire’s college roommate), will participate in a Q&A session. But, there is a catch! Heroes will not host the panel at the Convention Center. Make sure you go to the Indigo Room in the Hilton San Diego Bayfront (1 Park Blvd.)
Update 7/21: Additionally, Heroes will have a presence inside the Convention Center. Look out for the Heroes Booth sponsored by Nissan. This year, copies of Rebellion “Part 3: Family” will be given away as a Limited Edition Graphic Novel, written by Oliver Grigsby and drawn by Jason Badower.A Heroes tent will be set up outside the Convention Center in front of the Hilton Gaslamp Quarter Hotel (at K & 4th street). As a teaser of the upcoming Season 4: Redemption, the tent will have a “Carnival” theme. It is being sponsored by Sprint and there is a possibility of a Palm Pre give-away.
