Eric Doyle
Next On Heroes will be conducting an interview on Monday July 20th with David Lawrence XVII who plays “Eric Doyle,” the evil puppet master in the third season of Heroes. Eric’s character was introduced as a nefarious puppeteer who escaped from Primatech’s level 5 prison. Doyle has the ability to control other people’s actions and manipulates them like puppets. He first appeared in the episode “The Butterfly Effect,” and was part of a multi-episode arc where he tortured the invincible cheerleader Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere) and her moms, Meredith Gordon (Jessalyn Gilsig) and Sandra Bennet (Ashley Crow).
David and his character Eric Doyle are the protagonists of “Nowhere Man,” the latest installment in the Heroes online universe. The four-episode web series follows the life of Doyle under the alias of “Jason” after the events of Volume 4 Fugitives. [Check it out on Hulu]
David’s TV career includes credits for playing a Serbian doctor opposite Dennis Haysbert in the CBS series “The Unit,” a car wash manager on another CBS series: “CSI,” and a rock and roll wanna be on TBS’s “Frank TV.” He is also a renown voice talent, network radio host, Internet entrepreneur, podcaster, demo producer, teacher and author.
