Dawn Olivieri
The highly anticipated fourth season of NBC’s Sci-Fi drama Heroes is expected to return this Fall with several new cast members including Robert Knepper (Prison Break) and Ray Park (Star Wars). The new characters are part of plot lines involving an antagonist organization called The Carnival, which -according to series creator Tim Kring-”treats people with abilities in a fascinating, dangerous and potentially deadly new way.” The Company who will be directed by HRG, Angela Petrelli and Tracy Strauss will not deal with conspiracies or secret prisons anymore. Instead, the reformed Company will have to find specials and emotionally connect with them in order to save people with abilities from the Carnival.
The newest addition to the cast of Heroes is model and actress Dawn Olivieri (How I met your Mother, Stargate: Atlantis). According to casting calls she will play a character called Lydia. Our guess is that she will play the part of “Tatoo girl” who is described as a 22-28 female who works at the carnival, a little gullible, follows others’ lead. She has a mysterious side and is very sexy.

Total number of new characters: 7
Of whom white: 6
Confirmation yet if Mohinder will be in Season 4?
- No
I’m not white and the ethnicity of a person in real life or on a TV show does not matter at all to me
It matters to the people who cannot get jobs because shows like Heroes prefer white people.
As fans we should care more if a character is compelling and interesting rather if its white or ethnic.
What’s wrong with white characters? you don’t like the show? MOVE ON
“omg ur racist against white peoeple”?
Ya know, assuming something is racist just brings racism to the table when it’s not even necessary. The average fan reading this news literally just thinks ‘oh hey, a new character’ not ‘this is offensive because they’ve hired another white actress’. Ironically, it’s actually more racist to notice she is white instead of black, since the typical person just sees an actress, not a colour. Besides, you can’t consider Heroes to be unfair towards non-whites considering Masi Oka is one of the most well known faces from Heroes, he’s pretty much the poster boy. James Kyson Lee (Ando), George Takei (Kaito), Leonard Roberts (DL), Noah Cray-Cabey (Micah), Sendhil Ramamurthy (Mohinder) etc all popular characters that aren’t white. Point made I think.
I totally agree with Scott. Heroes is about the show, their characters and their stories not about their color.
Exactly.
Scott is right. i love heroes and i have never thought once about the color of its characters. If you are thinking about that chances are you’re rascist yourself.
