NBC recently updated their online store for the upcoming Heroes season 3 DVD available on September 1st. Surprisingly, the preview image of the DVD shows the front art cover and a sign that reads “All new episodes 9/21 at 8/7c.”
Heroes is set to return this fall after plummeting ratings and negative reviews from critics and fans alike. Series creator, Tim Kring, stated that the show will be going back to its original roots (Season 1). Earlier in June, he revealed to the official Heroes fan club members an outline of the future plot line. Redemption will revolve around characters dealing with their powers and trying to live normal lives. [Spoiler Alert: More details here.]
Mark your calendars. Heroes will come back on September 21st in a new time slot (8/7c). The fourth season will have a full and uninterrupted run of 19 episodes until the Winter Olympics.
NBC has not officially announced the premiere date of Heroes or any other show in the network.

I CANT WAIT!!!!!!
I’d be rich if I had a dollar everytime someone promised that Heroes would go back to its roots.
Actully this is the first time I’ve heard them say this… and you have to admit that fugitives was moveing in that direction.
Really? As far as I know all all such promises have been about season 4.
wow! this is good news. =)
Why do they keep trying to go BACK anyway when they should be going forward.
Sheesh.
Anon 2, Lol.
Fugitives? Had nothing to do with the original Heroes anymore.
Sigh, I really think they’ve strayed too far to ever really be able to recapture the novelty and rawness that Season 1 had.
I’m going to watch this show till it’s end but I know It can’t be what it once was.
Heroes is Really A Good Show.I Always Love To Watch NBC
Excellent! I head reports it would be 18 episodes, but 19 episodes! even better!
