IMPORTANT UPDATE: (June 18th) Per NBC, Heroes is now planning a small panel for Saturday with Tim Kring and some of the cast, but not all. [via E! Online]
Bad news for the loyal Heroes fans that were planning on being present at Comic Con this year. Maureen Ryan from the Chicago Tribune reports that this year Heroes will not do a full-on panel discussion. However, she informs that network representatives assured her that the show will “have a presence.” She contacted show creator Tim Kring, who confirms that fans attending San Diego Comic Con this year will see a sneak peak of the upcoming season of Heroes. Kring along with other cast and crew members of the show are expected to make an appearance.

Chuck has a panel for god’s sake. What is NBC thinking?
They want to avoid panel discussions because Heroes fans are smart and they will ask about the broken storyline. like Caitlin???
This is a slap in the face!
outrageous!
nbc gave chuck a panel
and heroes?
they need to get thier priorities straight
Hey, nice post, very well written. You should blog more about this. I’ll definitely be subscribing.
Heroes is braindead and they’re taking it off life support?
And they still wonder why people don’t like the show anymore?
I’m still going to tune in to Season 4 even if I don’t get to sit through an hour of weak-kneed fan girls asking ZQ and MV if they can pretty please have a hug? Dude, fans, Comic Con is a MARKETING TOOL of the networks and production companies, not a Tell-All session of indulgence the fans have some sort of ‘right’ to. :/
