Robert Knepper joins Heroes as a villainous “Carnival Barker”

THR reports that Robert Knepper has joined the cast of Heroes as the new villain of Volume 5: Redemption. He will portray Samuel, a carnival barker who appears to be minimal at first but has a large connection with the events of Volume 5: Redemption. The casting breakdown describes him as  ”charming but with an evil sense of humor.” This character is listed to be in several episodes of the next season as a recurring guest star.

Robert Knepper has played several villains in the past, most notably, Theodore Bagwell a.k.a T-bag in “Prison Break.” His filmography includes “Good Night and Good Luck” and “Transporter 3.” An interesting fact is that Season 4 of Heroes was hinted to resemble HBO’s “Carnivale,” where Robert played Tomy Dylan.
