I enjoy time traveling in science fiction and different shows have their very own ways of explaining this phenomenon. However, Heroes has not set definite rules about time traveling. Examples of confusion introduced by time traveling in Heroes are the strict timelines like Charlie’s, where no matter how many times you time travel, outcomes are fixed, but at the same time, the chaotic events arising from “stepping into a butterfly” like Future Peter did in Villains.
