UPDATE 06/28: Robert Knepper(Prison Break) has been casted as Samuel, “The Carnival Barker.” Deanne Bray(L World) will portray Peter’s love interest “Emma,” while Madeline Zima(The Nanny, Californication) landed the role of Gretchen “Claire’s Roommate.” Rick Worthy (Battlestar Galatica) joins the cast as “Matt’s partner”, and Ray Park(X-Men, Star Wars Episode I) has been hinted as the “Knife Thrower.”
New Heroes cast members
NBC’s Heroes is preparing for its highly anticipated return in the Fall. In our possession are the initial casting calls for Season 4 titled Redemption. The following breakdowns include new characters on episodes 401, 402 and 403 along with the filming dates and small descriptions for the roles.

[KNIFE THROWER] 30s, male. Dangerous, a true “Carney” … Open to all races and ethnicity. GUEST STAR
[CLAIRE'S ROOMATE] 18-22, female. College roommate, outsider, edgy, off beat but pretty. Complex think Ellen Page. Open to all ethnicities and nationalities. RECURRING GUEST STAR

Carnivals, Heroes, and ASL: three of my favorite things. I’m very excited.
Looks interesting. I never did catch Carnivale.
Is it a good idea to show up at these casting calls for a role that states a specific age that you aren’t in hopes of them changing their initial requirements for the actor?

Go on get Eddie Izzard. Love to see him in the show. Probably too busy with The day of the Triffids.
The Carnies thing was always being done in the X-men so why not carry it over to Heroes.
